SOCIAL CENTRE IN VIGO

The proposal that is presented is not born from an architectural concept as such, but is the result of the approach of 3 main objectives:

Identity
The building is conceived as an iconic element with a representative identity. It aims to be a landmark building in the city and at the same time offer a friendly image suitable for its intended use.

Energy efficiency
Energy efficiency is the main objective of this proposal, which seeks to make the building, through different active and passive strategies, self-sufficient, with zero CO2 emissions and energy consumption in order to have the most outstanding sustainability certificates.

Agenda 2030
The development of the project seeks to follow the objectives of the UN 2030 Agenda. The strategy is closely linked to 5 of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The objectives are present from the essence of the use of the building itself, which is linked to innovation and economic growth, the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls, guaranteeing access to affordable, safe, sustainable and modern for all people, promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all, make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable, ensure patterns of consumption and production in line with a stage of sustainability and generate a building committed to the fight against climate change and its effects.
